The velcro patch is the unbeatable standard for operational uniforms: military, security agents, event crews, first responders. Its strength is two words: modularity and washability.

Why velcro rather than another backing?

Three reasons make velcro the default choice in the field:

• Fast swap: the same uniform welcomes multiple IDs (station, rank, team, event) without ironing or sewing.
• Easy washing: patches are removed before industrial laundry — essential for professional laundering.
• Discretion on demand: agents who must remove their identification during an intervention do so in one second.

Hook or loop velcro?

Velcro consists of two complementary faces. The uniform industry convention:

• The patch carries the hook face on the back.
• The uniform carries the loop face sewn at the intended location.

If your uniform already has a velcro strip, we adapt. Tell us which side is on the garment, we embroider patches with the complementary side. We can also supply pre-cut loop bands matching your patch dimensions.

IR, subdued and tactical patches

For operational units, we embroider patches with IR (infrared) threads visible only under NVG illumination, plus subdued versions in toned-down colours (OD, coyote, ranger green, multicam-compatible). Production under NDA possible.
